Globally, 50 million tonnes of e-waste will be produced this year; the equivalent weight of all the commercial airplanes ever made. This waste includes 5.3 billion mobile phones, discarded prematurely.
Goal
Kingfisher is a next-gen mobile experience company, completely reinventing the ownership experience and leading the way to create sustainable solutions for the telco industry.
Solution
Rethink was engaged by Kingfisher in July 2023 to create an idea that would transform the way consumers worldwide thought about mobile phone circularity in an industry dependent on a two-year lifecycle.
